Inking Large Stamps

It's very simple to use inkpads on large or over-sized stamps. While it is sometimes possible to buy extra large inkapds, they are very expensive and have a limited range of colours and ink types. You must use inkpads that have their inked pad raised a few mm above the plastic casing, such as VersaFine.

Hold the stamp face up in one hand. With your other hand hold the inpad. A good craft inpad such as VersaFine is designed so the inked surface stands 5 mm above the plastic casing.
Dab the inkpad over the stamp.
Using a continuous dabbing movement, continue to cover the stamp with your inkpad.
The stamp is now fully inked.
Hold your stamp carefully over the surface to be stamped.
Press firmly
The finshed result!
